PosiTector 6000 FJS Coating Thickness Probe for Thick Coatings
Introducing the new PosiTector 6000 FJS Coating Thickness probe for measuring thick, protective coatings on steel. With a measurement range of 0 to 25 mm (0 to 1.0 in.), it is ideal for measuring thick epoxies, rubbers, fireproofing, and other thick coatings applied to steel.
This new probe features an alumina wear face and a lightweight, ergonomic design for comfortable all-day use. In fact, the new PosiTector 6000 FJS probe is about 66% smaller than comparable probes. Unlike competitive probes based on eddy-current technology, the electro-magnetic technology in PosiTector 6000 probes (including the PosiTector 6000 FJS) is less susceptible to the effects of substrate roughness, curvature, material, and alloy.
Telescopic Probe Extender
The popular PosiTector Telescopic Probe Extender has been upgraded with a new gage body mount. Made of high strength composite and stainless steel, the updated gage body mount features a spring loaded x-grip for securely holding the PosiTector gage body in place.
